The Brief

The New-Gen Triton eLearning project was a collaborative effort between Optivly and Mitsubishi Motors Australia Limited (MMAL), who needed to prepare over 4,000 dealer staff across Australia for the launch of the new flagship Triton model in 2024.

Our objective was to create best-in-class innovative training module that matched the ethos of the new vehicle, built essential product knowledge among dealer staff, and helped them translate that knowledge into personalised customer communications.

High volume of technical content, including completely new and unfamiliar features, needed to be linked to the broader automotive Australian market and translated into Triton’s unique value proposition and customer benefits.

Additionally, necessity for the training module to integrate seamlessly with other scheduled vehicle launch events, created an urgent need for the training module to be delivered at speed.

Our Project Outcome

The New-Gen Triton eLearning effectively addressed the challenges of training a diverse and widespread dealer network, earning high ratings from learners (average satisfaction score of 4.8 out of 5). Being able deploy impactful self-paced learning meant minimal-to-no disruptions to productivity and resources, and the module set a new benchmark among global Mitsubishi subsidiaries.
